About Me

Before I was involved in politics, I was a nurse, a mom, and now a proud grandma.

I grew up in a hardworking family. My parents owned a small trucking business, and from a young age I learned the value of hard work by helping keep the books. I saw firsthand what it meant to make payroll, balance a budget, and work long hours to build something for your family.

Those lessons stayed with me.

They led me into nursing, where I have spent my career caring for people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. As a nurse, I learned how to listen, solve problems, stay calm under pressure, and put people before politics. My work in healthcare also gave me a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing working families, seniors, and rural communities across Central Washington.

Later, I had the honor of serving on the Moses Lake City Council, where I focused on public safety, responsible growth, and support for local businesses. My experience in local government reinforced what I have long believed: the best decisions are made closest to the people, not through one-size-fits-all policies coming out of Olympia.

I am running for State Representative in Washington’s 13th Legislative District because I believe our state is on the wrong track.

Families are being squeezed by rising costs. Small businesses and agriculture are burdened by taxes, regulations, and runaway spending. Too often, Olympia adds more bureaucracy instead of delivering real solutions. I believe government should live within its means, be accountable to taxpayers, support safe communities, and respect local control.

I am running to bring service, safety, and solutions to Olympia and to be a strong conservative voice for the families, workers, farmers, and small business owners of Central Washington.

I know what it means to work hard, raise a family, run a budget, and serve a community. That is the perspective I will bring every day as your representative.
